As a bachelor-student and student assisstant i am currently occupied with the translation of teaching material on Quantum GIS into the wiki format. Comments and ideas can be written to my Talkpage!

Below, you can see an overview on my current and finished plans and tasks, which i first of all typed down for my own organization, but might also give you a hint of what has to -and will be- improved in the QGIS tutorial in the future.

My to-do list for the QGIS tutorial

  • Translate the “Remote sensing with open source software” script into wiki
  • Update, correct and adapt the articles to the wiki structure
  • Complete pages in Category:Under construction ans fill redlink-Pages with content:
  • Practically check the current state of GPS integration
    • If necessary, update the GPS related articles
  • Imply google function

Some more ideas for the QGIS tutorial

  • Visual and structural separation of independent information and tutorial-related information.

    • Simple option: Background color
  • Create and upload images of solutions for the exercises
