  1. In QGIS, select Plugins --> Manage and Install Plugins...
  2. Search and install the qgis2web plugin.
  3. Prepare a map as a QGIS project:
    • Set your project title, and background and highlight colours in Project --> Properties...
    • Give your layers human-friendly names in the Layers Panel.
    • Give your layer columns human friendly names via Layer --> Properties --> Attributes Form --> Fields --> Alias
    • Hide the columns you don't want to appear in your popups by changing the Widget Type to Hidden
    • Style your layers, and set their scale-dependent visibility, if required.
  4. Run Web --> qgis2web --> Create web map
  5. Click checkbox Leaflet on.
  6. In the Layers and groups tabs configure Layers and labels.
  7. Click Update preview.
  8. If you are happy with the preview you may save your webmap to a local folder. In the Export tab choose a local folder. Click Export.
