- In QGIS, select Plugins --> Manage and Install Plugins...
- Search and install the qgis2web plugin.
- Prepare a map as a QGIS project:
- Set your project title, and background and highlight colours in Project --> Properties...
- Give your layers human-friendly names in the Layers Panel.
- Give your layer columns human friendly names via Layer --> Properties --> Attributes Form --> Fields --> Alias
- Hide the columns you don't want to appear in your popups by changing the Widget Type to Hidden
- Style your layers, and set their scale-dependent visibility, if required.
- Run Web --> qgis2web --> Create web map
- Click checkbox Leaflet on.
- In the Layers and groups tabs configure Layers and labels.
- Click Update preview.
- If you are happy with the preview you may save your webmap to a local folder. In the Export tab choose a local folder. Click Export.
