The   [http://www.uni-goettingen.de/en/67094.html Chair of Forest Inventory and Remote Sensing] at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, together with the [http://www.snrt.polytechnic.edu.na/?q=content/welcome-department-land-managment  Department of Land Management] at the Polytechnic of Namibia and the [http://www.sun.ac.za/english/faculty/agri/forestry Department of Forestry and Wood Science] at the University of Stellenbosch conducted a joined student project in September 2014.
